Educators from Catholic schools across Cape Town recently gathered at the Christian Brothers' Centre in Stellenbosch for a Wellness Retreat focused on holistic wellbeing and personal renewal.
The retreat explored the interconnected dimensions of wellness, including social, physical, financial, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. Through inspiring guest speakers, meaningful discussions, and engaging activities, participants were encouraged to reflect on their own wellbeing and develop practices to support a balanced and fulfilling life.
The retreat also provided a valuable opportunity for teachers to step away from the demands of the classroom, focus on personal growth, and reconnect with colleagues in a supportive and uplifting environment.
As Catholic educators, caring for our own wellbeing enables us to better accompany and serve the young people entrusted to our care. The retreat was a powerful reminder of the importance of nurturing the whole person and fostering communities of support and encouragement.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all who attended and contributed to making the retreat such a meaningful and memorable experience.
