A joint Principals and Religious Education Forum meeting was held at St Michael’s Parish, Rondebosch, bringing together school leaders from across our network.

We were honoured to host Dr Mark Potterton, recently retired Principal of Sacred Heart Marist College, who addressed the timely topic: “The good, the bad and the ugly of social
media: What is the role of the school in forming responsible and empathic social media users?” His insights provided much food for thought for our leaders as they continue guiding learners in an increasingly digital world.
Schools also had an opportunity for collaborative reflection and strategic planning to further enhance school ethos and mission.
During the meeting, the new Principals and RE Coordinators Executive Forums were elected to serve a two-year term. We look forward with enthusiasm to the important work ahead.
