On Friday, 28 November, we were privileged to join Worcester RK Primary for their Thanksgiving Service — a beautiful moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the many blessings of the year. The celebration opened with a reverent liturgy led by Fr John Atkinson, followed by a heartfelt performance from the school’s choir. After their beautiful singing, the school community offered a generous collection for the needy — a true sign of gratitude in action.
A significant highlight of the morning was the tribute to Mr Hubert Titus, who is retiring after many years of devoted service as principal. Mr Titus is a man of deep faith, integrity, and compassion — a leader who has shaped not only the school but the wider community with wisdom, humility, and unwavering commitment. We give thanks for his faithful service and the legacy he leaves behind.
The celebration concluded with the unveiling of a statue of Saint Maria Goretti at the school’s entrance, a reminder of purity, courage, and steadfast faith.
Saint Maria Goretti, pray for us.
